Jane Lloyd, an artist, visited us and taught us how to draw a picture of a bucket, pumpkin and a book using pencil and also how to do shading. This is what we did.

Mauis mum is in Melbourne at the moment and its great to see all the budding artists in room 3 and keep up with the wonderful activities that you are all doing. Well done!

  Diwali. We have been working hard during our Inquiry time learning about festivals and celebrations.The Indian festival of Diwali is centred around Light so we have been busy using our collage skills to create beautiful candles. Collage requires Patience and Perseverance. Well worth all the hard work though!! .     We also painted our own beautiful D iva's-  small candles which are placed around peoples homes during Diwali.   Lights welcome the New Year and create a happy festive atmosphere.
