Diwali. We have been working hard during our Inquiry time learning about festivals and celebrations. The Indian festival of Diwali is centred around Light so we have been busy using our collage skills to create beautiful candles. Collage requires Patience and Perseverance. Well worth all the hard work though!! . We also painted our own beautiful D iva's- small candles which are placed around peoples homes during Diwali. Lights welcome the New Year and create a happy festive atmosphere. Come into Room 3 and see what you think!
Here we are walking around on planets or driving about in space in our spaceships. The pictures are in pastel and dye and you can see the originals at our school office.
