We are learning to identify New Zealand coins and bank notes and understand their value. Filling in the money tree was one activity we enjoyed.

Diwali. We have been working hard during our Inquiry time learning about festivals and celebrations.The Indian festival of Diwali is centred around Light so we have been busy using our collage skills to create beautiful candles. Collage requires Patience and Perseverance. Well worth all the hard work though!! . We also painted our own beautiful D iva's- small candles which are placed around peoples homes during Diwali. Lights welcome the New Year and create a happy festive atmosphere. Come into Room 3 and see what you think!
