Room 3 2017

Room 3 have been very lucky to have been part of the audience to two lots of special visitors on the last two Fridays. The first visitors presented us with a fantastic show called 'Jungle Bungle' and we were absolutely spellbound hanging on every word of the story that they told and acted . The second visitors were the fabulous year 7 and 8 Kapahaka group from Pukeatua School, who entertained us with haka and waiata. We were absolutely mesmerized by their outstanding performance!

On Wednesday afternoon we had lots of fun making all sorts of models with boxes. We used a range of boxes and different craft materials. Look at what we have made.

Every Monday and Tuesday Room 3 and our friends from Room 1 have been doing fun activities in gymnastics together. First we do warm ups on the mats with only certain parts of our bodies being allowed to touch the mat. We, next have a feather, which we have to blow up and catch again on different parts of our bodies. We then work with our partner to solve tricky problems and see what positions we can create with our bodies together. Next we work in three teams and rotate around the hall doing different activities on the equipment. After that we do exercises on the mat to cool down.
