Our Education Outside the Classroom Week!
Room 3 have had a wonderful time exploring a range of experiences in our Education outside the classroom week. We began the week with a visit to Te Papa on Monday. First we explored the xray section containing whales, sharks and seals and the enormous squid. We loved watching the 3D movie wearing the cool glasses! Next we went to Nature space. Mrs Mills then taught us about Te Marae. After lunch we went to Pasifica. We then went back to school on the bus. On Tuesday we learnt some new cricket skills from Lee and then we met some animals from Zippity Zoo. Farmer B told us all about the animals and then we patted them, fed them and even brushed them. On Wednesday we had our Junior School Athletics and we showed how clever we were with the high jump, long jump, shot put, sprints, quoits, vortex and obstacle course.
