This week we started our unit on Statistics in mathematics. We counted how many different colours there were in a box of lollies and them plotted our data onto a graph. We then discussed our findings. Every day we have been to the pool for aquatics education. We have a trained swimming instructor in the pool with us and this week we learnt how to blow bubbles and float on our front and back. On Tuesday we visited Heather in our local library. She showed us how to be safe in the library in the unlikely event of an earthquake. We practiced being turtles. We explored the library to find exit signs and she then read us a fantastic story before we chose our own book to bring back to read at school. This week we were also introduced to Jumpjam and joined all of our friends in the Junior school for this. Two of us were very brave and even went up on stage.
