Room 3 2017

On Friday we visited the gardens across the road in the Senior School. We were exploring and observing as we searched the area for different butterflies and the plants that they were attracted to. We want to find out what plants the butterflies like so that we can grow some to create our own 'Junior School Butterfly Garden.' The investigation is the start of our inquiry about life cycles.

We are very lucky to have the Year 4 children in Room 7 to be our big buddies this year. Every Friday morning we meet with them. Last week we read books together. This week we made a collage picture together about what we do in Eastbourne. Have a look at us working together.

Every day we have been going to the Eastbourne Pool to have lessons with the instructors. We are very clever. First we get into our swimming gear and wait to get into the water. We are then working in two groups and are learning to be confident in, on and under the water. Have a look at what we have been doing.
