Room 3 2017

On Thursday the Easter bunny came to school and hid some eggs. We looked very hard around parts of the school and eventually found them all! Waiting to begin the hunt! Found mine!  Keep looking! Victory! Happy Easter! 

One sunny afternoon during Seaweek we walked down to our local beach. We placed hoops onto different areas of the beach and observed what was inside each of them. We used magnifying glasses to get a closer look. We were amazed at what we found had been washed up onto the beach.

One day Charlotte brought her toy bird to school and the model she had made of it at home. It was amazing! Well done Charlotte!

We had our Junior School Swimming Festival at the Eastbourne Pool. We showed our friends and families the skills we have been learning this year. Here we are pushing balls, jumping with noodles, kicking with flutterboards and swimming lengths.

Once each week there is a Junior School Science Club meeting during a lunchtime. This term Room 3 scientists are Ori and Elle. Here they are making a vehicle which they are going to propel. Do you know how they will make them move?

Room 3 read a big book entitled "Greedy Cat." They then painted their cats. 

On Monday we read a book called 'Bubbles'. We then went outside and blew bubbles too. We watched our bubbles fly all around, over us, over our playground and high up into the sky before they went pop,  pop,  pop,  pop!
