Matariki. We concluded our Inquiry into Celebrations by revisiting Matariki-the Maori New Year. What a wonderful job Room 3 did for our school production -"Tall Tales."You all performed beautifully -singing and dancing like professionals. You were fantastic team players !! Room 3 on the Move. We love our fitness sessions outside. Some of the things we are working on are : Space -awareness Dodging Chasing Swerving Evading Changing direction at speed Co-operating with classmates Team -work. For many of us the past few weeks has been our first introduction to Skipping. There are lots of different steps to remember but we are making great progress. We have also been involved in move M prove every Monday in the school hall. After warming up we move in groups around different stations each offering activities designed to develop different skills.
