We are learning about 2D shapes and put together some pictures. We are learning to count forwards and backwards to 20-playing Maths games reinforces the concepts we have been introduced to during our Maths sessions. Games also foster co-operation, turn taking and accepting outcomes. During our guided reading session we worked together to read and follow instructions. We wanted to try and replicate an illustration from the book and had to carefully read and follow each step-it was not as easy as it looked but we achieved great results! Well done !! Our monarch butterfly emerged during interviews with Finn and his parents. C ongratulations to our award winners-great job! Keep up the good work.

The fluff around the swan plant seeds looks interesting.
Thanks for teaching me that butterflies use a special tube called a proboscis to suck up the nectar.
I had to look up the word proboscis on Wikipedia to find out more.
Did you know there is monkey called a Proboscis Monkey - they have a very long nose and look quite funny!
