Cross country is coming up and we are all looking forward to taking part.We are learning to pace ourselves on the run, to never give up and always to try to be the best that we can be.   


  


 

Getting ready to run.

 Developmental time for an hour on Friday is Fun. We have the chance to choose from a range of activities.We are learning new skills and also to co-operate and share with our classmates. Here we are working together with the big blocks to create something everyone in the group is happy with.





 Our Inquiry on Life Cycles is coming to an end.Come into Room 3 and look at the great Art work we have done and read our stories.

  Diwali. We have been working hard during our Inquiry time learning about festivals and celebrations.The Indian festival of Diwali is centred around Light so we have been busy using our collage skills to create beautiful candles. Collage requires Patience and Perseverance. Well worth all the hard work though!! .     We also painted our own beautiful D iva's-  small candles which are placed around peoples homes during Diwali.   Lights welcome the New Year and create a happy festive atmosphere. Last term Room 3 had Performing Arts lessons each week. They learnt lots of different dances. On Friday, they shared one of the dances that they had learnt at the Full School Assembly. The audience sang as they did the dance. We hope you enjoy it!

Friday night at the Disco!

What a lot of fun was had at our Junior School disco in our school hall on Friday night! Room 3 danced with their friends from our class and other classes in the Junior School and they also danced with their parents and family members. They loved all the glow in the dark items and the food.    Here are some of us enjoying ourselves -   Thank you to everyone who made this such a fun night! Room 3 would like to do it all again!
