Room 3 listened really well to the story about the Rainbow Fish and then they discussed how they could be a good friend. We talked about using 'kind words,' 'kind hands' and 'kind feet,' as well as how we could invite other children to join in our games. We also talked about what it is like to work as a team and ways we could do that in room 3. After that we designed our own fish and underwater scene using pastels on black paper. The large pictures are now up on display in our classroom. We hope you like them. The following are photos of them made into our calendar art which are now available to order.

We predicted that our paper clips would move along a maze.We predicted that the magnetic force from our wand magnets would pass through the plastic plates. And actually we were proved right!!! Predicting and experimenting is interesting.! Magnetic sand had a life of it's own!! I n Room 3 we are curious and interested in the world around us -we ask questions and then work out ways to try and answer them.
